To design and construct a working vertical-axis wind turbine for residential and urban applications. To create clean energy, through utilizing wind - a limitless resource - and intelligent design. 

Energy harvesting in urban areas suffers from inconsistent and variable wind, which limits the use of conventional applications. Through our vertical-axis design, we aim to utilize the "natural" side-effects of urban areas and harness wind power. 

The ultimate goal: "to light a lamp".
